Georgia Lines Announces New Live Album – Live at The Civic

Georgia Lines has announced Live At The Civic, a new album captured at her landmark headline performance at Auckland’s iconic venue The Civic, released today and available exclusively at Georgia Lines Bandcamp page

Filmed and recorded at The Civic on June 15, 2025, the 10-track album captures Georgia’s powerful headline performance as part of the Auckland Live Cabaret Festival, documenting one of the most significant shows of her career to date. Backed by stunning live arrangements and featuring musicians from the Auckland Philharmonia, Live At The Civic showcases Georgia’s commanding vocal performance and the emotional connection she has built with audiences across Aotearoa.

The show features songs from across her catalogue, including fan favourites from her early EP releases, tracks from her #1 debut album The Rose of Jericho, and material from her 2025 EP The Guest House, alongside a special guest appearance from Teeks performing their duet “Not By Your Side,” bringing together every chapter of her career in one special live performance. Accompanying the album release is a full series of live performance videos documenting the live show at The Civic as it unfolded.

This show was one of the most special nights of my career so far, and I know it’ll forever be one that I look back on with so much pride,” says Georgia. “To stand on the stage at The Civic surrounded by incredible musicians and some of my favourite people, and play these songs to a room full of people who were so deeply with us every moment of the show, was something I’ll never forget. We spent such a long time shaping and curating this night to feel really special, and I think you could feel that energy in the room. More than anything, we just wanted to capture the show exactly as it felt that night.

The concert received widespread acclaim from media and fans alike, with critics praising both the ambition and emotional depth of the performance.

Red Raven described the show as “one of the most emotionally arresting and creatively curated live shows seen in this part of the world in years.

13th Floor called the performance “a magical night,” while Tearaway Magazine wrote that audiences experienced “everything they could have wished for.”

The release follows a huge period of momentum for Georgia Lines, whose debut album The Rose of Jericho debuted at #1 in New Zealand and earned six Aotearoa Music Award nominations. Her follow-up EP The Guest House also debuted at #1, with lead single ‘Julia‘ spending 10 consecutive weeks in the New Zealand Radio Airplay Top 10.

As a 10-time Aotearoa Music Award nominee and four-time winner, Georgia has established herself as one of Aotearoa’s defining modern pop artists. Alongside over 16 million streams globally, she has received Silver Scroll and Taite Music Prize nominations, been named one of Rolling Stone AU/NZ’s Future of Music and Ones To Watch artists, and continued building an international audience through performances across Australia and the United States, including showcase appearances at SXSW and BIGSOUND.

Now based in Nashville, Georgia is currently writing her second album alongside Grammy and Ivor Novello Award-winning producer and songwriter Matt Hales.

This concert was commissioned and presented by Auckland Live Cabaret Festival.
