Tokyo-based Tāmaki Makaurau-born artist Mark de Clive-Lowe kicks off a global run of live shows this month, celebrating both the 25th anniversary of his seminal international-debut album Six Degrees and his recently released ambient synth jazz album Past Present (Tone
Poems Across Time).

The tour spans London, Paris, Detroit, Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Tokyo, featuring multiple formats from full band anniversary sets to live remix shows and intimate artist talks. The tour also coincides with the release of a brand new remix of his fan-favorite track from Six Degrees – ‘Day by Day‘ featuring Cherie Mathieson.

The new remix, crafted by Melbourne’s Close Counters, brings the classic into 2025 with a vibrant reimagining for broken beat and soulful house dancefloors. Originally recorded in 1999 and released in 2000, the song has journeyed through versions by DJ Spinna and now finds new life again. The release is part of a year-long celebration of Six Degrees, an album that helped define the nu-jazz/electronic soul sound Mark is internationally known for.

“It’s such a fun ride revisiting this album after 25 years,” says de Clive-Lowe. “Some of the tracks have never been performed live before, so this tour is a chance to breathe new life into the music and share it with audiences around the world.”
