Record Enable is proud to announce our Studio Step-Up Giveaway 2026, made with support from Recorded Music New Zealand. The Studio Step-Up Giveaway will provide a total of ten half day slots, five at Big Fan and Parachute Music respectively.

The giveaway is open to women and non-binary people who require studio time to complete a music project they are contributing to in a technical capacity. Upon completion of their studio time, each recipient will need to supply a picture of them in action, an audio snippet of what they worked on, and a paragraph reflecting on their experience.

This is the third year of this giveaway, helping our recipients create high quality music and develop lasting relationships with recording studios. Previous participants include Keeley Lash who now works in-house at Bigpop, and Annika Rani who recorded instruments for her track Blush.

Requirements :
– Self-identify as a woman or non-binary
– Currently working as a producer or audio engineer on a music project
– Can describe your project and how the studio time will help you
– Be available to use your slot between 28 September and 27 November 2026

Applications Open : 18 August to 12 September
Recipients Announced : 28 September
