Raging Flowers is fast on the rise, releasing her self-titled debut EP, following her first two singles ‘Can Someone I Love Love Me Please‘ and ‘Procrastination‘.
This 4-tracks EP celebrates the diversity of feelings. It takes us on a journey of exploring a range of topics, from loneliness and procrastination to a comforting conversation about healing from emotional injuries.
Raging Flowers is a singer-songwriter and producer, based in Auckland, New Zealand. She’s a software engineer turned artist who’s also a professional kickboxing athlete.
The first single of this EP, ‘Can Someone I Love Love Me Please’, is a humorous take on the difficulty in finding love and companionship. It is well received by the public. It has been played on multiple radio stations around New Zealand. On 2 April 2024, this song made number 3 on the Te Ahi Top 10 chart by RDU 985.FM, rated by the audience.
The second single, ‘Procrastination’, is an energetic indie-rock song, where the artist yells about her anxious avoidance of some boring tasks. It’s been curated by a number of independent internet radio curators. It’s also represented by the Australian sync licensing company Midnight Choir.
The last two songs are lovely ballads that show the vulnerability and warmth of the artist. The subtle uses of jazz harmony and classical instruments embellish the story-telling of the songs while maintaining an highly approachable sound.
All songs on the EP are performed, recorded and produced by Raging Flowers. She produced these songs from her home studio as well as the Parachute Music studios in Auckland.
Raging Flowers is excited about the release of her debut EP. She is preparing for a live-to-air radio show at her local radio station, East FM. She’s also planning on another EP to be released towards the end of the year.
