‘Real Good Man’ celebrates the kind of love that sees you at your best and your worst — and loves you anyway. With its catchy hook, upbeat energy, and playful country-pop feel, Rosie Teese captures what it means to find someone who truly treats you right. It’s the kind of song that’ll have you smiling, singing along, and maybe even doing a little line dancing with your own real good man.

Rosie Teese writes songs like confessions – honest, raw, and steeped in emotion. With one foot in the storytelling tradition of country and the other firmly planted in shimmering pop, she captures the messy, beautiful in-between moments of life: the soaring highs, the silent heartbreaks, and the vulnerability we rarely speak aloud.
Since emerging onto the scene, Rosie has quickly become one of Aotearoa’s most exciting country-pop voices. In 2024, she made her live Auckland debut opening for Aotearoa Music Award-winner Georgia Lines at the iconic Powerstation (1,000-capacity venue). A major co-sign, Lines personally selected Teese to open the show as a fan of her work. That same year, Rosie was named a finalist and performer at the prestigious MLT Songwriting Awards for her standout track ‘Addicted’ sharing the stage with celebrated artists like Mel Parsons.
Industry and media attention has followed. Rolling Stone AU-NZ described Rosie as “packing a punch with attitude,” while the NZ Music Commission hailed her as a “rising star in the country-pop scene.” She’s also been featured in major outlets like Woman’s Day, interviewed and playlisted across commercial radio stations including The Hits, More FM, and ZM, and spotlighted in ZM’s Acoustic Corner.
Rosie’s debut single “Overboard” made an immediate impact, entering the Hot 20 NZ Singles Chart at #16 and climbing to #10. Follow-up single ‘Two Sided Hearts’ reached #11 on the same chart, later re- entering at #13. It also hit #21 on the NZ Radioscope Top 40 Chart and #25 on the Most Added to NZ Radio chart, with ‘Overboard’ also charting at #22.
Her growing catalogue has landed both local and international editorial placements on Spotify (Fresh Finds Country, Heaps Country, All New Country, New Music Friday Country) and Apple Music (Little Bit Country, Country Caffeine, Country Risers, New In Country, New Music Daily), expanding her reach in Australasia and beyond.
With each release, Rosie Teese continues to build a body of work defined by emotional clarity, bold storytelling, and a sound that bridges the rural heart and the city skyline.
