Hawke’s Bay alt-rock band Say Or Do is excited to announce the release of their latest single, ‘Neon Lights’. This dynamic track blends acoustic-driven verses with lightly distorted choruses and features a blistering solo by the band’s 21-year-old guitarist, Kazuki, who also mixed and mastered the song.
Entirely self-produced and recorded DIY, ‘Neon Lights’ marks a pivotal moment in Say Or Do’s journey.
While not the first single from their upcoming debut EP, due in April 2025, ‘Neon Lights’ serves as a bridge between the band’s roots in acoustic storytelling and the bolder, rock-infused sound that defines their new material.
“Neon Lights is about finding someone who makes you feel unstoppable,” says Sam French, lead vocalist. “This track reflects where we’ve come from and where we’re headed, and it’s so rewarding to see people connecting with it.”
