How would you open your set at one of the most popular summer festivals in Aotearoa? Expressions of interest are now open for the TSB Festival of Lights’ 2025-26 entertainment line-up.
Set in the deep green surrounds of Pukekura Park, the TSB Festival of Lights fuses arts, community and nature for five weeks of vibrant summer evenings in the heart of Taranaki.
Free to the public, the TSB Festival of Lights is New Zealand’s favourite and longest-running light festival. The festival welcomed over 150,000 visitors this summer.
It’s a premier stage for a high-energy mix of artists from around the region and the motu as well as headliner and international acts. This summer saw 39 musicians and bands perform across the Park’s two lawn stages, including C.W. Stoneking, Goodshirt, Jordyn with a Why, VGB, Christopher Tubbs, Bush Buds, SKILAA, Blake, and Casual Healing.
As well as coming together to kanikani, visitors to the festival can explore the lighting trail illuminated with installations sourced from all over the world, watch live arts performances, and enjoy a vibrant schedule of family-friendly entertainment including Festival Kids, a huge New Year’s Eve event, and outdoor cinema.
Artists interested in performing next summer will need to be available over the festival dates of mid-late December 2025 to mid-late January 2026. You may also be considered for the TSB Festival of Lights winter pop-up, which lights up the waterfront in New Plymouth’s CBD each Matariki long weekend.
