Trip Hop Singer Songwriter and Music Producer Vanessa Tottle brings to you a new vocal track called ‘Can I go now?’. Written in Dec 2023, after the passing of her mother in law, Vanessa felt compelled to write, what she has now called – a love note to her 4 children – penned and sung from the heart, the words that June could no longer say to her beloved children.

Vanessa says “I believe that the words, references to the sand, were all meant to come together, even down to the tremble in my voice at times. Ben, my sound engineer asked if I wanted to leave that raw tremble in and I said yes – I needed every emotion to be present”.

With a vintage vocal with an ever slight reverb, the emotional tremble in her voice at times, surrounded by a kick that seems to, all on its own, tell a story of what Vanessa refers to as an iconic woman that she got to love for 25 years.
