The winners of all six award categories will be revealed, alongside special nods to APRA’s 100th anniversary representing songwriters and composers across Aotearoa and Australia. As is the APRA Silver Scroll tradition, there will be specially curated performances of finalist and winner’s songs and compositions, and more surprise appearances.

It’s an honour to have multi-hyphenate Aotearoa music icon, Godfrey de Grut as our Music Director for the 2026 show. A long-time member of the Silver Scroll whānau, having won the titular prize in 2002 (with Che Fu for ‘Misty Frequencies‘) and having shepherded the night’s musical direction on more than one occasion, Godfrey will be responsible for performances throughout the 2026 APRA Silver Scroll Awards | Kaitito Kaiaka ceremony on October 14. We’re equally excited to announce our MC will be Onehunga High School legend turned worldwide creative quadruple threat, Madeleine Sami. Madeleine has starred in some of the most successful film comedies Aotearoa has produced, including Sione’s Wedding (and its sequel), Eagle Vs. Shark, What We Do In The Shadows, as well as her own feature, The Breaker Upperers. Read more here.
