Your favourite Aotearoa pop-rock band, Where’s Jai, featuring a rare lineup of two female lead vocalists, are back with their new single ‘Turn It Up’; A cinematic summer anthem about fleeting passion and the instinct to run from love. After dropping their debut album Fresh Out Of Air last year at just 18, and touring the country (including a sold-out show at Auckland’s Tuning Fork with over 400 fans) the band are already full stream ahead into a new era, with their album now sitting at #2 on the Aotearoa Top 20 Albums.

‘Turn It Up’ dives into the tension between intense desire and the fear of what love truly demands. With themes of commitment issues and emotional push and pull, the track captures the thrill of connection without the weight of staying. Bold, raw, and infectious.

Fans got their first listen to ‘Turn It Up’ at the band’s album vinyl release party, where they packed out Real Groovy and fans enjoyed a two hour meet and greet, alongside a mini in store concert with George Villa and Liberty. The crowd absolutely loved the track. It’s the kind of song that makes you want to scream, dance, and sing along, culminating in a crowd call moment that’s impossible not to join in on, getting fans clapping and singing too.

Where’s Jai continue to push boundaries, and their upcoming music video promises dramatic performances and striking visuals that bring the song to life.

The new single ‘Turn It Up’ is set for release on April 17, 2026.
