Aotearoa SyncPosium (A Screen Music Conference) Is Coming Back Early 2024!

Keynote speakers appearing at SyncPosium 2024 in-person are Grammy and Academy Award winning songwriters Pasek and Paul (The Greatest Showman, La La Land, Only Murders in the Building) and EVP Music at Warner Brothers Studios in LA Darren Higman (Minecraft, The Colour Purple) with more guests to be announced in the lead-up to the event!

With sold-out events in 2021 and 2023, the Aotearoa SyncPosium will educate and celebrate the exciting world of applying musical artistry to film, television, video games, ads and more on 23rd and 24th February 2024 at the Q Theatre, 305 Queen Street, Auckland.

A limited number of Early Bird tickets for the Aotearoa SyncPosium are available HERE.

The conference will be followed by the SyncPosium Workshop at Roundhead Studios on the 25th February. The workshop is by application only and will feature specific intensive workshops catering to different areas of the sync industry. Participants will have the opportunity to write, record and submit music to briefs, participate in a songwriting workshop with Pasek and Paul, as well as a cover songs workshop with international publishers.

If you would like to apply for the workshop, please send your expression of interest to contact@mindyourmusic.com. Application forms will be sent out in early January. Please note workshop attendees will also need to be able to attend Day 2 of the conference as well.

More exciting speakers and panels will be announced early January 2024.
