This week started with sadness across the Aotearoa music community and the world with news of the unexpected passing of Martin Phillipps.

The creative force behind influential New Zealand band The Chills, Martin’s songwriting legacy and influence is being rightly remembered and celebrated around the globe. The loss of Martin will resonate with music fans far and wide for years to come.

Our sincere condolences go out to Martin’s friends, whānau and band members present and past.
